The Medical Library purchased the Blackwell Publishing Digitized Backfiles Collection for Medicine, Nursing, Health and Dentistry. Journals will be added to the collection through 2008. Among the titles already available (back to volume one) are: Cephalalgia, Clinical and Experimental Allergy, European Journal of Neuroscience, Immunological Reviews and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology.
The ScienceDirect Freedom Collection, consisting of approximately 1800 online journals, is now available. The Medical Library purchased the remaining un-subscribed portion of this collection to increase user’s access to information. You can find links to all these titles via the e-journals database.
Problem: “Can not start print job” error when printing a PDF from ScienceDirect.
Cause: The URL generated for that PDF is sometimes too long for the Web browser and Adobe reader to correctly process the print command. ScienceDirect is working to address the problem.
